Today my family and I went on a Field Trip to Casa Grande Ruins. We looked at houses made of clay built by people who lived in this area about 800 years ago. We went through a little museum and looked at stuff they used a long time ago. Someone at the front desk was playing a wooden flute and they piped the music through speakers. We went outside and saw the main community house (the Casa Grande), some other smaller houses and the field where they played games and sports.
Here are some pictures:

I had a good time and learned a lot!
Marissa, I have visited this place at least 8 times, because everytime my family from canada comes they want us to take them there. Isn't is a neat place, I love learning about the Hohokam tribes. Did you know that there are lots of people in Casa Grande who have never even been there! Glad you liked it!
