Plane Ride and First Hotel in Abu Dhabi

Hello World!

We were at the airport in Phoenix, Arizona with our Grandma and Grandpa waiting for our bags to be checked.  After a little while of waiting, my Dad P and step-mom E came to the airport, found us, came over and talked to me and asked me how it was going, if I was tired, excited and other stuff. I answered the questions and then told my dad about a dream I had about him and the mailbox in March. After the bags were checked and went to the place they had to go to be on the plane, we went to the security area and said goodbye to family, there was a lot of tears.

When we got off the plane in Chicago, we had dinner at Chili's and then headed to the international terminal to meet Daddy K's sister and her puppy, Buster. We got an hour with her and Buster. The plane ride from Chicago to Abu Dhabi was long, Monkey slept most of the flight because he was sick, Ladybug and I watched movies, ate food and took naps along the way, I took the longest nap when we were almost to the airport and mom had to wake me up. There was lots of turbulence, which made Ladybug a little airsick just as we were about to land, the flight crew was nice, everyone had their own TV, the seats were comfy, there were blankets, pillows and sleep kits and it was roomy. The flight left late because of the weather in Chicago.

We got into the airport and the travel agency helped us move through all the customs, the baggage claim and get set up with our trip to the hotel. When we got to our first hotel, we had one room instead of two rooms because they had the room under Monkey's name instead of Daddy K's name. When we got the next room, Ladybug and I got it. Two days before we got the information for our next hotel, Ladybug and I had a leak in our bathroom. We did not get to play in the pool in this hotel but, we get to move to a nicer hotel tomorrow in Al Ain!
