Camping

Dear World,

I had lots of fun camping! We canoed, fished, kayaked, and walked. Monkey liked to take walks all the time! He said: "I take walk, I take walk!" Every day, every time. While fishing I kept catching Crawdad's, but they kept on falling back in the water. I also lost my hook in the water! I got to paddle in the canoe and kayak. 

The day after we got home from camping I went to my Dad's and S (my former step-mom) came down to pick up Crab and I. We went to the Grand Canyon and Crab almost fell off the edge! He was 4 inches from the edge. S yelled: "CRAB!" and after that, we were done and went on the shuttle bus. We went on 9 of them while we were there. I have never been on shuttle buses before! I was really happy! 

We also met 3 squirrels! One was digging, another was eating a cactus fruit, and the last one was doing nothing. We also got a  Junior Ranger badge and promised to take care of the National Parks. Crab kept on saying: "I am Ranger Junior of Earth whole." We blew bubbles and they went down the Canyon! We got a Junior Ranger activity book and we had to do 4 activities out of it. But we did the whole book instead. Crab used it as a coloring book, but hee still got his badge. We watched 2 movies of the Grand Canyon. We also went to Wendy's and got Smart Links. It was fun! I got a Flamingo, he got a plane, but we switched them, so I have a Flamingo plane and he has a Plane flamingo. We had FUN! 

When I came home, I watched a show and went to bed. In the morning, I was not feeling so well, Monkey gave me his cold, and I still do not feel well.

Fun with Grandparents!

Hello World!

This week was great!

I got to see my Grandma and Papa twice! On Tuesday, Mommy and Daddy K went to the Mesa Temple so Grandma took Ladybug, Monkey and me to a park and to McDonalds. At McDonalds we also played on the PlayPlace.

Yesterday our family decided to visit Grandma and Papa again to go swimming at their community pool. Then we had Costco pizza for lunch. I ate 2 whole pieces! YUM!

A Visit from T and Baby K

Hello world,

This week mom, monkey, ladybug, and I went to the airport and picked up T (she used to be our nanny) and Baby K who flew from Utah all the way to Arizona. While we were there an airport employee gave us little eraser airplanes, mine is blue, Ladybug’s is orange, Monkey’s is yellow, and Baby K’s is green. After that we went to get T’s luggage at carousal number 6. We thought that we would stay there forever, until someone came by and said that Utah’s luggage was on carousal number 2 and so T went and got her luggage and Baby K’s car seat. Then we went to McDonalds and Monkey, Baby K., and I got Chicken Nuggets. Ladybug got a hamburger. Ladybug and I each got a Zooble in our Happy Meals. Monkey got a Thor toy. After that, we went home and went to bed. 

Tuesday we went to the Villago Park and played. Baby K and I got owies and bruises from the tunnels there (they still hurt). Then on Wednesday we stayed home and relaxed. 

Yesterday Grandma came by to see T and Baby K and then when she left we did some quiet time. Then we had some lunch and went to a park in Gilbert that had swings, a bunch of slides, a water area to play in, tables to eat on, monkey bars, a rock climbing area, driving wheels, and a swingy thing that goes all the way around! 

Today we got up and did our school work. In a little while mom, Monkey and I are going to drop off T and Baby K off at the airport so they can go home. Then I am going to Grandma’s house and she is going to take me to my Daddy P’s apartment. 

It has been a fun week!

Easter and Monkey's 3rd Birthday

Hello world! 

On Saturday, we went to Grandma’s house and had an Easter party for Monkey’s birthday. We went to the Easter Funfair at Grandma’s Clubhouse. Monkey and Ladybug went in a Cars bounce house while I played some games. I got 4 whistles, a coloring page and 5 eggs! Monkey got 2 whistles, a coloring page and a maze. Ladybug got 2 whistles and a coloring page. After we went home, Papa talked about popcorn and so Grandma Great and I went and got popcorn and a bag of purple cotton candy. 

When we got home we ate Hamburgers and Hotdogs outside. Then we sang Happy Birthday! Then after that we ate cake inside, because mommy and I did not like flowers on our food. It was a really windy day! Ladybug had the Green Eyed Monster in her when Monkey opened his presents! Monkey got a little dump truck, lizard pillow, a handsome church outfit and a big giant dump truck. Ladybug kept on saying, “I want that! I want that!” so she had to have a talk about it with Grandma. After the talk, she got a pink heart dress for her birthday, but it was an Easter dress so she got it at Easter time. 

When he was all done opening his presents we all played outside with Grandma Great while Daddy, Mommy, Grandma, and Grandpa filled up the water barrels. Then we went home and played. Then it was Bedtime for Ladybug first, then Monkey, then me! Ladybug went first because of her attitude with the Green Eyed Monster. 

For church on Easter Sunday, we all wore our church outfits. Mommy took pictures of us together in our church outfits. We were happy but Monkey would not stand still! Then we all got in the car and drove to church. We had all sorts of lessons about Easter and Jesus Christ being resurrected on the 3^rd day of Easter, which is Easter Sunday! We were happy, but I had to keep switching seats because there were to many tall people in the front that were too tall. I liked watching the show.

Lemonade Luncheon

Hello World,

On March 26, 2011, we went to a Church activity, a Lemonade Luncheon. We had finger sandwiches, lemonade and dessert. For dessert we had brownies, chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, and small baby cookies. The cookies were soft and yummy. We sat and chatted with friends, watched a skit, and stayed to clean up. I had a good time, even though it was hot and sunny! After we put all the chairs up, we followed mommy up the steps onto the high porch of the person's home and a bee chased my sister (Ladybug) and me! So we ran off of the porch by using their ramp. Then, it was time to pack up our chairs and leave. The End! :)

~My 11th Birthday~

Hello World,

My family and I celebrated my 11th Birthday by going to Golden Corral. My Grandma and  Great-Grandma C. came to celebrate with us. I got 2 shirts, a Target gift card, a cute green dress with black leggings with hearts at the bottom, black dress with Polka-dots on it with a short black coat, a sewing kit, Old Navy gift card and a check for $20 and some cash. My mom and dad bought fabric and grandma made a quilt out of it for me. They also got me a photo collage of my family, a picture of Jesus Christ and a picture of an LDS Temple. With my Old Navy gift card, I bought 4 shirts, pajama pants, yoga pants and 2 pairs of Flip-flops. With my Target gift card I bought a toy slide-phone with gems inside on plastic sheets so you can decorate it and I also got a princess 3-wheel scooter. At Golden Corral, they sang a Birthday song to me and gave me a cupcake (I licked the frosting of it :). I also had a brownie and ice-cream with M&M's. Here are some pictures from my day:

Christmas and Christmas Eve

Hello World, 

On Christmas Eve, we decorated cookies, read "The Birth of Jesus Christ" in Luke chapter 2, got pajamas from Grandma Great and had a sleepover with cousin E. On Christmas day we opened presents. I got: a Pillow Pet Unicorn, travel word search game, "Learn to paint" book, clothes, socks, movies, books, Twister, Twister Hop-scotch and a Tinker-Bell PEZ dispenser. After we did all that, my Daddy P. came to pick me up, so I could do Christmas with Crab, Sara, Grandma H., Grandpa H., Uncle J., Aunt Bonny, Uncle Rick and Daddy P.! I got: Footie Jamies, Fairy necklace, Guess Who? Extra!, a sparkly white dress with flower hair clips, and a color and wipe off Princess puzzle.

It was a great Christmas!
